Lanzhou High-tech Zone has been transformed from a wasteland to a vibrant new city by pioneers, pathfinders, business groups, scientists, researchers, and builders. With dynamics and enthusiasm, they remarkably made this place a “cradle of dreams” for many dreamers.

Located in Gansu province in northwestern China, Lanzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone (total area 182 km2) is one of the first batches of national high-tech zones approved by the State Council.

Lanzhou-Baiyin Innovation Demonstration Zone was approved by the State Council in 2018. It is the first national independent innovation demonstration zone in Northwest China to cultivate a good innovation and entrepreneurship environment.

In 2019, there were over 15000 enterprises forming the industrial ecosystem on new materials, electronic information, biomedicine, energy conservation and environmental protection, advanced manufacturing and modern service industry.
